Running the Tesla CD Turbine Prototype With Saw Attachment

This is the crazy movie where the magnetic Tesla CD Turbine began. This prototype CD Turbine with a real Skilsaw blade attached, gets run up to speed big time on120 psi air pressure... The CD Turbine actually works way better than expected, and both of us are left screaming as I scramble to shut down the air compressor before the pressure goes up more! This Tesla CD Turbine is made from recycled CD's and CD case with a nozzle glued on. Neodymium magnets act as both disc spacers and drive magnets. The Skilsaw blade has magnets attached to it, which spin with the turbine, but on the outside of the case. By some magnetic miracle which I am still analysing, the Tesla CD Turbine with Blade holds together. (Aside from a CD part flinging off at the beginning, and some mysterious melted plastic on the top of the CD case ;) And I live to do the next video, entitled "Running The Tesla CD Turbine to Catastrophic Failure" www.youtube.com I think you can guess what happens next... :( The Tesla CD Turbine web site: www.cdturbine.com To learn how to build Tesla CD Turbines, visit my Instructables site at www.instructables.com Mrfixitrick orders the best neodymium super-magnets from: www.kjmagnetics.com
